ON A MORE SOMBRE NOTE
Hands of Industry were devastated to hear of the death of a friend of the band. Beth Fields was sadly killed in what police are calling a “domestic incident” aged just 21 years old. Our thoughts and love are with Beth’s family, especially Jim Fields, who is also a huge friend of the band, and a huge part of our life at The Old Chapel Music Studio, where we have watched Beth grow up, and have spent many a rehearsal with both Jim and Beth there to enjoy time with. You. Won’t be forgotten, Beth.

BACK IN EUROPE?
Following 2018’s 2500-mile journey on tour, marauding through 8 countries, HOI have been asked to perform abroad again, but this time moving past the Dolomites and on to Eastern Europe and Russia. Details will be posted once things are confirmed, but the band are hugely excited by this!

MADCHESTER SYNTH STYLE
Hands of Industry have once again connected with our music friends in Manchester, where historically they’ve attracted a huge following, packing out venues such as The Dry Bar, The Night and Day Café, Band on the Wall, The Roadhouse (Supporting Charlotte Hatherley from Ash), and Moho, where HOI were proud to have been asked to support Leeds Dance band The Music, and The Courteeners. Look out for details of a Radio interview which will be done as an outside broadcast, and a number of gigs with some big names in the Electronic Music Scene.

LUCKY IN LEEDS
Leeds hosted Hands of Industry on the 25th June, and saw the band supporting Insurrectionary Neo Futurists, and all round good eggs The Jan Doyle Band, and also Los Angeles based band Lucky+Love!! It was a fantastic night for all concerned.

FESTIVAL TIME
Hands of Industry are never ones to just live in the moment. We’re always planning, always looking to the “what next”, and we’re so lucky to be around like-minded people. HOI are currently planning for next year’s festival season, with some hugely productive discussions underway to play across the country, and beyond!

SYNTHETIC CITY RELOADED
Hands of Industry were delighted to play Synthetic City Reloaded in London. An all-day event, that saw us play alongside a fair few great bands from the scene, including: HiltiPop, Marlow, Androids In The Mist, Caroline Mclavy, Battery Operated Orchestra (BOO), The Rude Awakening, Shiny Darkness... It was also great to connect with HOI friends such as Rob Harvey. The reception was fantastic as we finished our set with a brand new cover of Cars. Definitely an event we'd like to play again so stay tuned.

NEWMANESQUE
We were delighted to have been asked to compose a piece of music for a TV Pilot, hosted by some absolutely huge names from the music business. Not only that, but the music was showcased in Hollywood!!!!! Stay tuned for development as we hear them!!!

Hands of Industry are delighted to announce our latest video for our upcoming single "Are You Listening", recorded with the legendary Ian Curnow. The video features the model/actress Mollie Ashcroft, who was a whole lot of fun to work with.
We had a terrific time filming the video with the best cameraman in the business. Thank you so much to David Reyes, Dave Scattergood, Frizzby Fox, and the people of Brick Lane and surrounding areas for making the video shoot a thoroughly pleasurable and rewarding experience.

HUDDERSFIELD CHARITY GIG
We are delighted to inform you that HOI will be performing at a special charity night in Huddersfield on May 4th. It is memory of Dean Stead with proceeds going to the charity MIND. The venue is St Patrick's Club and while there is no admission fee, a minimum donation of £5 is requested. Also appearing will be Paul Nolan and Klammer. BIG IN THE FAR EAST
Big thanks to HOI fan Dazzer from Sowerby who has got in contact to tell us of an extraordinary shock he received whilst on a recent holiday in Thailand. He was lounging at a beach bar in Phuket, when what should come on over the sound system but the Jake Neutron remix of the HOI song 'I Swear'! Apparently he almost spat his beer out, and needless to say all three of the band are now very keen to add Thailand o to their touring schedule.

HOI HARD AT IT

WELCOME STEFAN DRAPAN!
We are delighted to officially announce that drummer Stefan Drapan has joined Hands of Industry. Stefan has been the sticksman for a number of Yorkshire bands and recently filled in for Bravado Cartel on their US tour. He has already been hard at work with Paul and Brad in the studio and will be making his live debut with the band at The Brudnell in Leeds on 29th June.
